EUDEL shows its support to President of Saharawi Arab Democratic Republic
During his official visit to the Basque Country, President of Saharawi Arab Democratic Republic Mohamed Abdelaziz has been received by Karmelo Sáinz de la Maza, president the Association of Basque Municipalities (EUDEL), and by Gualber Atxurra, Mayor of Muskiz and member of EUDEL`s Executive at the headquarters of the organisation.
A delegation of the Saharawi Arab Democratic Republic (SADR) has also attended the meeting, where the Association of Basque Municipalities has shown its support to the Saharawi people. President Mohamed Abdelaziz has thanked Basque institutions for their support and has taken an interest in the "Basque Country-Sahara Fund", an aid fund promoted by EUDEL months ago. It aims at providing the hospital of Agüenit with economic resources. The Association of Basque Municipalities is committed to the smooth running of the medical institution throughout the years.
After his visit to EUDEL`s headquarters, President Mohamed Abdelaziz and the delegation of the Saharawi Arab Democratic Republic have head towards Bizkaia`s County Council`s Office.
